This is a smaller update focused on keeping Budokai Arena active, maintained, and moving forward while we continue working on something much bigger.
Our major update is already in development and is on its way. It will rework many parts of the game, with a focus on a more polished look, faster performance, fewer bugs, and a stronger identity.
We want to bring a fresh perspective to Budokai Arena: keeping battles fun and engaging while making the experience feel as faithful to Dragon Ball as possible. From presentation to gameplay, our goal is to capture more of what makes its world and characters special.

New Characters
Tenshinhan arrives alongside the other Z Fighters to face the newly arrived Android 19 and Android 20 after three years of intense preparation. He later tracks down Android 17 and Android 18, but he is easily outclassed and left helpless alongside Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo when the powerful androids demonstrate their superior strength. After intense training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Goku masters the Super Saiyan transformation and fights with calmness, intelligence, and great power.
In his Super Vegeta form (Super Saiyan Second Grade), the Prince of Saiyans' attacks prioritize increased muscle mass to unleash devastating ki blasts, possessing greater speed and raw power compared to the standard Super Saiyan.
In this form, Trunks drastically increases his muscle mass and power by raising his energy to maximum, becoming much stronger than his Super Saiyan form. However, this boost in streght reduces his speed and agility.
In Semi-Perfect form, obtained after absorbing Android 17, Cell's wings disappear, and he becomes more humanoid and muscular in appearance. He has the same coloring from his Imperfect form, but his lower arms and legs are now colored black and his tail is now orange and black.
