This drop brings a new batch of fighters — and it's also a heads-up for where the arena is going next. We want Budokai to be easier to pick up and adapt to, especially if you're coming from other arenas. Clearer kits, cleaner rules, and a game that feels familiar without losing what makes this one ours.
New Characters
Garlic Jr, Lord Slug, Android 13, Super 13, Full Power Frieza, Piccolo (Kami-Sama), and Imperfect Cell are in. The next character lots will stay large too — recent updates didn't bring enough new faces, and we're catching up.
Balance & Creativity
We've also been dealing with a creativity problem that's been boxing balance in. Some kits were built in a way that looked unique on paper, but left almost no room to tune them without breaking the rest of the match. That approach is getting corrected so future balance can actually move — boosts, nerfs, and adjustments without the kit falling apart.
Communities
Communities are changing focus. Each community now specializes in one bonus type instead of stacking several bonuses on the same board. Pick the community that matches what you want to farm, and rank that board up.

New Characters
Garlic Jr. is an alien whose father was in the running for the title of the God of Earth. He lost to Kami and tried to take it by force but was defeated and thrown into the Dead Zone. Garlic Jr. later comes to exact his revenge for this, firstly gaining immortality via the Dragon Balls.
Slug, known as Lord Slug to himself and his underlings, is a Namekian. It is explained that he is one of the Super Namekians and was sent to Planet Slug as a baby to escape the extinction that was about to ravage Namek. As he matured, the evil in his heart began to overwhelm his character thanks to a rare mutation unique to Namekians; this transformed him into a Super Namekian. Since then, he had gathered an army and became a conqueror of planets.
Android 13 is one of Dr. Gero's androids, built to continue his creator's vendetta against Goku. His combat computer studies enemy actions and plants trackers that guide his S.S. Deadly Bomber.
Android 13 is completed by Dr. Gero's self-aware supercomputer after Android 14 and Android 15, who by this time are already taking up arms against Goku and Future Trunks. Ultimately, 14 and 15 are defeated, following Future Trunks and Vegeta's transformations into Super Saiyans; their deaths are fail-safe, however, as 13 absorbs components from both, resulting in his transformation into Super Android 13.
Full Power Frieza is the maximum 100% capacity of Frieza's Final Form. By releasing 100% of his latent power, Frieza massively increased his raw strength, speed, durability, and destructive power, essentially traded stamina for overwhelming raw power. However, this enormous increase came at the cost of stamina and efficiency.
Piccolo achieved his peak tactical and martial relevance against Cell by fusing with Kami and temporarily becoming the strongest Z-Fighter.
The ultimate creation of Dr. Gero, designed via cell recombination using the genetics of the greatest fighters that the Remote Tracking Device could find on Earth. The result was a "perfect warrior", possessing numerous favorable genetic traits and special abilities. He was one of the few Red Ribbon Androids not directly completed by Dr. Gero, instead being completed by Dr. Gero's Supercomputer in an alternate timeline.
